Gluten Free Fall Bowls

Cozy in a bowl! These fall bowls are loaded with chicken apple sausage, roasted apples + sweet potatoes, a sprinkle of cinnamon, crispy bacon and creamy goat cheese. Basically autumn comfort food made easy!

Ingredients
  

  • 4 large sweet potatoes
  • 5 large apples
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 10-15 links chicken and apple sausage we like the aidells brand
  • 1 packet bacon
  • goat cheese for topping
  • honey for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400℉
  2. Peel and dice the sweet potatoes and add them to a baking sheet.
  3. Dice the apples and add them to the baking sheet
  4. Season the apples and sweet potatoes generously with cinnamon
  5. Place the baking sheet in the oven at 400℉ for 20 minutes
  6. Slice the chicken and apple sausage, after 20 minutes place the sausage on the tray with the apples and sweet potatoes and place back into the oven at 400℉ for an additional 15-20 minutes
  7. Place the pack of bacon on a tray and place that in the oven at 400℉ for 15-20 minutes or until it is nice and crispy
  8. Build your bowl by scooping the sweet potatoes, apples, and chicken apple sausage into the bowl and then top with crumbled bacon, goat cheese, and a drizzle of honey.
